We want to make sure every visit to our website is a good one, so we'd like to offer some tips:

To avoid any unwanted surprises when you receive your package, it's important to know that from time to time, the colour or texture that you see in a photo may differ slightly from the actual product. We try hard to be as accurate as possible, but different computer screens display colours differently, and textures can be difficult to capture in photography. Nicole Jane Home ships to addresses across Canada and the USA (with the exception of Hawaii & Puerto Rico). Expedited shipping is not available for post office box addresses. If it is determined that delivery is not available in certain areas, the customer will be advised via email as soon as possible, and a full refund will be made immediately.

U.S. customers can have items shipped to addresses in the United States or Canada. Canadian customers can also have items shipped to addresses in the United States or Canada. The appropriate currency, and any applicable taxes, will be automatically calculated at checkout, based on the billing and shipping addresses provided.

Delivery

Nicole Jane Home will deliver to the shipping address provided by the customer upon ordering. The cost and speed of delivery may vary depending on the destination, the mode of delivery, and/or product availability. Please note that expedited delivery is not available to post office boxes. Shipping costs are based on dollar amount purchased and the delivery method chosen. The shipping cost is calculated during the checkout process. At any time prior to final checkout, you can opt out of the purchase process. Orders may not be canceled upon departure from the Nicole Jane Home warehouse (which may be earlier than estimated time of shipping).

If you are purchasing something for someone else, we recommend that you advise the recipient when to expect the package (you will receive an email with the estimated date of arrival once the item is shipped). Packages that are left unclaimed at the post office will be returned to Nicole Jane Home after 10-15 days (may vary in different areas).

When we receive returned "unclaimed" packages, we email or phone to let the customer know. At that time, they can choose to have the order refunded, less shipping and a $10 restocking fee. Otherwise, they can choose to have the package reshipped, but the restocking fee and a new shipping fee will apply.

Delivery Method

Product delivery is subject to the corporate policies governing the delivery companies used by Nicole Jane Home, which presently include Canada Post and the USPS; as well as to the corporate policies governing other delivery companies used by Nicole Jane Home from time to time. Delivery will also be subject to policies concerning the signature of waybills. If you are absent from the delivery location provided to Nicole Jane Home, it is your responsibility to pick up the undelivered products from any of the above-mentioned companies in accordance with said company's policies. No expedited delivery shall be made to a post office box.

Nicole Jane Home delivers to every state in the United States with the exception of Puerto Rico and Hawaii. For inquires regarding international shipping, please contact customer service at 1-866-677-2531.

Our Newsletter Subscribers receive free gift wrapping with every purchase. Make sure to join on our Home Page in the bottom left black box. Simply tell us what you want wrapped in the "gift message" section of the checkout process. Christmas Gift Returns
In order to simplify gift-giving, we extend our Returns timeline during the holiday season.

Holiday-themed decor, holiday-theme table linens and holiday-theme kitchen linens can be returned up until December 20, 2010. After that date, we will not accept returns or give credit for holiday items.

Otherwise, any items purchased between October 1 and December 25, 2010 can be returned any time before January 25, 2011. For purchases made after December 25, our regular Returns policy applies. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with our Returns policy below for shipping instructions should you need to make a return.

Returns

Returns will be accepted with the original proof of purchase (order confirmation) up to 30 days* from the date of purchase (with the exception of large-scale orders, seasonal items and sale items (see below)) on the strict condition that the product has not been used or removed from its original packaging and that the packaging has not been damaged (unless the product was damaged during shipping or it is defective). Should you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact Nicole Jane Home within seven days of receiving it. Nicole Jane Home does not accept C.O.D. returns. It is advisable to return items via the USPS or Canada Post.

*IMPORTANT: Returns are not permitted for large-scale orders (10 or more of the same item) unless defective or damaged during shipping. If you have any questions at all about a product prior to purchasing, please contact Nicole Jane Home's customer service at info@nicolejane.com or 1-866-677-2531. It is advisable to order a single "sample" item in order to verify that it is suitable for your needs prior to ordering multiple quantities of that item.

Refunds may take 10 or more business days to be processed (depending on the policies of your credit card issuing company). Shipping charges are non-refundable, and will be deducted from the balance of the return. The customer is responsible for insuring the contents of the returned package. The cost and risks of product returns is the customer's responsibility, unless Nicole Jane Home failed to deliver the product ordered, or if the product delivered is defective. In such a case, Nicole Jane Home will assume the costs and risks related to transportation via Canada Post or the USPS, provided that you confirm the return instructions with Nicole Jane Home prior to shipping your return items.

Nicole Jane Home tries to keep shipping costs at a minimum for its customers, which means that from time to time, it may cost Nicole Jane Home more to ship a package than it has charged. Therefore, return shipping costs may be higher than the price paid by the customer to receive a package.

C.O.D. RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED BY NICOLE JANE HOME

Returns will be refunded in the method of original payment. Please note: items returned in any condition other than when shipped new (unless defective) will not be accepted for refund, exchange or credit.

Exchanges

All customers will be allowed one exchange within 30 days of purchase, but some exclusions apply. Large-scale orders of 10 or more of the same item, are not accepted for exchange or return. The deadline for returning or exchanging seasonal decor items is 5 days prior to the seasonal event (e.g., Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Easter Sunday).  We will be happy to exchange and return your item one time only (customer is responsible for all shipping costs and risks).  Orders with one exchange already will not be eligible for any future exchanges or refunds.

Sale Merchandise

Sale merchandise is non-refundable. Returns, store credits or exchanges will not be accepted on sale items.
